CURRICULUM

We Take Pride in Our Approach

We at LVCA approach academic excellence by addressing Character, Attitude, Service, and then Academics.  We realize that each of these compliments the other in encouraging each child to reach his/her full potential.  

The regular classroom teachers instruct the students in all subject areas except for physical education, music, and art.  We strive to reach each child individually and therefore maintain small class sizes.

We use both the A-Beka curriculum out of Pensacola, Florida and the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum. Both are known world-wide for high academic standards as well as their incorporation of God’s Word. Character, attitude, service, and academics are structured throughout. Our teachers participate in continuing professional education classes, many of which are taught by teachers at Pensacola and through other avenues associated with the American Association of Christian Schools.
